What to expect at Dolan Family Chiropractic…

   On your first visit you will sit down privately with one of the chiropractors and discuss your problem in detail. The doctor will then perform a chiropractic examination which may include orthopedic tests, neurological testing, range of motion assessment, posture or gait analysis, and palpation. When medically necessary, x-rays may be taken but not all patients have x-rays taken and it is never required. The chiropractor will then sit down with you and discuss the findings, the possible causes of your injury, and the treatment recommendations. You will also be given the chance to go over your x-rays with one of the doctors. Most patients can identify their misalignments immediately and are very surprised to see what their spine looks like on x-ray. If your case requires a referral to another medical specialist then one will be given. Your doctor will answer any question or concern that you might have about the findings, the treatment, or your x-rays. Based off your history, examination findings, and x-rays, a personalized treatment plan will be suggested which may contain a combination of chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy, stretching, or muscle work.

How Often Do I Have to Come?


   This is always completely up to you as the patient. We do not require any contract or prepayment when it comes to treatment. The doctor will always recommend a treatment plan that will best fix your problem. In some cases you may need to come in 2-3 times a week for a week or two to initially get rid of the pain. After the pain is gone you may need a few more visits in order to strengthen and stabilize the area to prevent future injuries. Many of our patients select to continue maintenance care in order to remain pain free but it is not required. As your condition improves and changes so will your treatment. The treatment plan is not set in stone and will be altered in order to get the best results. Treating back pain is a team effort and the chiropractors of Dolan Family Chiropractic are here to work with you to get the best results possible. We guarantee that you and your family will get the proper care and attention that they deserve from our family!

Insurance and Payment

   We are In-Network with all major health insurance companies including Medicare. If you do not see your specific plan listed on this page or if you have questions about your benefits and coverage please call and speak to one of the doctors. We have yet to find an insurance that we can’t work with. For your convenience we file all of your medical claims after every treatment. We do not require prepayment for any services and no not require any long term contracts or obligations. We accept credit, debit, cash, and check as forms of payment and do offer discount plans for seniors, police, firemen, military personnel, and for those without insurance coverage.
